Hello to the lovely people reading this blog, my name is Melissa Meme and I am 16 years old. I currently attend Fort Lauderdale High School and I am in the 11th grade. My parents came from Haiti and immigrated to Florida in the late '90s. I was born in Miami, Florida making me Haitian American. I speak fluent English and some Haitian Creole. Growing up in a Caribbean household I sometimes enjoy spending time outside with my family. One of my favorite Haitian dishes is Legume (Vegetable Stew), Sous pwa (puree bean sauce), with white rice. My favorite colors are purple and turquoise. Mainly, during the weekends I enjoy riding my bike at a park by the beach. One thing about me is that I am a shy, and kind type of person. I am the oldest of three kids. I sometimes wish that I was the only child because my brother and sister can be very annoying.
