Second filming blog for music video

 Hello everyone and welcome to a new blog. In my last blog, I mentioned that my partner and I could not film during the break so we faced some delays. During our break, we also had changed our filming location. Originally we were supposed to film at Kendia's house but her mom said she would have to film at my house. During the break, Kendia stayed with her cousins so her mom said I would have to film at her cousin's house. Our new filming location will be at Kendia's cousin's house since she is staying there. In our last blog, we scheduled the days we would film for the week.  We decided to film on Tuesday, December 2, and Wednesday, December 3. On Tuesday, December 2, when school ended I started preparing my costume, which are pajama pants, socks, and a jacket, and props. I had to wait for my mom to arrive home from work so that she can drop me off at Kendia's. When I got to Kendia's cousin's house we started recording. We recorded the scenes in the order that they are on the storyboard. We had about an hour for filming so that we could complete any homework. Kendia and I would be the only actors in the music video. Kendia and I changed into our costumes and went out to the living room to film the first few scenes. Kendia recorded the establishing shot which was part of the first scene. Kendia's cousin was the person recording us as we were acting out the scenes. It took some time since Kendia had to teach her cousin how to record the scenes. In the meantime, I just look at the storyboard to see how we should act out the scenes and cleared off the table which had things that were not our props. Once Kendia finished teaching her cousin we started recording. After filming those scenes we wrapped up filming. We planned to film the next day which was Wednesday, December 3. On Wednesday, we did not film since my mom arrived home a little late so Kendia and I decided to film on Thursday. On Thursday, we were supposed to film the scenes at Kendia's cousin's house but Kendia had to go out that day. We still film that day but I would film at my house. I would film the scenes that were in the bedroom. The reason for this is because at Kendia's cousin's house the rooms were the adults and their son's room which had a bunk bed. The bunk bed would have made it hard to film from certain angles. I started filming late in the day since I had chores. Once I finished my chores I started filming asked my sister to record for me. I had to teach her how the scenes should be recorded. As we were filming Kendia and I were video-calling each other so that way Kendia was still part of the filming process. My sister would record the scenes and then I would look at it. After that, I would show it to Kendia so she can give her input. After recording the bedroom scenes, we wrapped up our second day of filming. We will record the remaining scenes Saturday, December 5, and start editing on that same day. H ey, Everyone and welcome back to another update on our video. We have finally finished the video and added the last finishing touches. As you all know, for this assignment we were allowed to work with a partner or individually. Starting the final task

Hi, my name is Melissa Meme, and welcome😊. These new set of blogs will document my partner and I's journey as we work on this final task. Last time, I worked on a music video before the winter break. In this new project, we are to create an opening scene for a movie. This time I would be introducing myself all over again. I am currently an 11th grader who is attending Fort Lauderdale High School. I am a Haitian American who is somewhat fluent in Haitian Creole. I am plan in the future to work in the medical field. Genre Research: Action

  Earlier this year, I had to create a PowerPoint on a genre of my choice. We were also given the choice to work with a partner for this project. Hence, for this project, I worked with my best friend. I talk to her every day and we are in the same class, so this was the best option. When picking our genre, we chose “action” as this is the type of genre we seem to watch a lot in the past year in movies and shows. When doing our research we watched and looked at trusted websites to acquire knowledge of what methods or materials are used to produce action movies. We researched what lightings are used in action movies. We also researched the angles that are used in action movies. We also researched the camera movements, mise en scenes, and sounds involved/used in action movies. From the information we obtained, some common lighting in the genre of action is low-key lighting and backlighting.
