Filming blog for music video project

Hello everyone and welcome back to another blog. I recently came back from Thanksgiving break. Last time my partner and I worked on our storyboard. Prior to our Thanksgiving break, we planned to film but we were not required to film during the break. Our plan for the break was to film for two days and after filming we would edit.  We did not have set dates because we knew that our plans may change or might face some issues. For the filming process, we faced some encounters throughout the break. Kendia spent the Thanksgiving break with her cousins so were not going to film at my house. I would have to go to her for filming which was not a problem for me. We could not film on Monday since I was celebrating my mom's birthday. We spoke with each other the following day and scheduled to film on Wednesday. On Wednesday, we were not able to film since my mom arrived home from work late so I could not go to Kendia's to film. Thursday was Thanksgiving so we spent time with our families. We did not film during the weekend since Saturday is a holy day for Kendia and Sunday and Friday is when I attend church. We realized that we did not film during the break so we decided that we will record the week that we return back to school. Our Thanksgiving break is now over so we scheduled to film Tuesday, December 1, and Wednesday, December 2. We will meet after school and when my mom comes home from work. When we meet, we will try to take about an hour to film so that we may have time to complete our homework. At the moment we are just preparing our props and costumes. So when we do meet everything is prepared and ready for us to record. Hope you guys stay tuned for our next blog where we talk about our filming process. Bye, everyone!!

H ey, Everyone and welcome back to another update on our video. We have finally finished the video and added the last finishing touches. As you all know, for this assignment we were allowed to work with a partner or individually. Starting the final task

Hi, my name is Melissa Meme, and welcome😊. These new set of blogs will document my partner and I's journey as we work on this final task. Last time, I worked on a music video before the winter break. In this new project, we are to create an opening scene for a movie. This time I would be introducing myself all over again. I am currently an 11th grader who is attending Fort Lauderdale High School. I am a Haitian American who is somewhat fluent in Haitian Creole. I am plan in the future to work in the medical field. Genre Research: Action

  Earlier this year, I had to create a PowerPoint on a genre of my choice. We were also given the choice to work with a partner for this project. Hence, for this project, I worked with my best friend. I talk to her every day and we are in the same class, so this was the best option. When picking our genre, we chose “action” as this is the type of genre we seem to watch a lot in the past year in movies and shows. When doing our research we watched and looked at trusted websites to acquire knowledge of what methods or materials are used to produce action movies. We researched what lightings are used in action movies. We also researched the angles that are used in action movies. We also researched the camera movements, mise en scenes, and sounds involved/used in action movies. From the information we obtained, some common lighting in the genre of action is low-key lighting and backlighting.
