Planning for my music video



Welcome back, everyone! For this blog, we will plan out how and what we will need for filming our music video. For this music video, we will be filming either at Kendia’s house or my house. We haven't decided as of yet whose house we will be filming at, as it depends on our parent’s schedule and opinion. We decided nevertheless, that we would film in places such as the bedroom, and the living room. This time around we will be the only ones acting out in the video. To do the filming we may have to switch turns or have one of our siblings help us to film. Throughout the entire video, we will be wearing pajamas. We will wear pajama pants with a baggy top such as a sweater or shirt. We will also be wearing sunglasses. Since this video is about being comfortable and lazy, we will also be wearing socks. Our props will include a tv remote, school books, and a cellphone, For lighting, we may have to use the living room light. This is because we will most likely have to film in the evening due to our parent’s work schedule. We will film from angles such as a high angle and POV. Towards the end, we will use a pan as we are dancing to the music. We will use a tilt when we are staring up at the tv screen. We will use an over the shoulder shot of one of us declining a call or placing our phone down. We may film using a POV of us staring at the television screen and tv remote. We may also use a pan shot when filming one of us laying on a bed. We may also use a close up of us playing on our phone. When we create our storyboard the angles and shots we planned to use may change, but these are the things we vision to do. We started planning on Tuesday, November 17th. On November 19, we will create a storyboard and try if not the same day then on November the 20th. During our Thanksgiving Break which is from November 23 to November 29, we will meet up to film for two days. On our first day of filming, we will film as many scenes as we can. After that day, we will begin the editing process so that we can see if we may need to record any scenes over. The second day of filming will just be a day planned for retakes or finish any recording scenes we didn’t record from the first day. When we finish recording our scenes, we will continue with editing. After we finish editing and filming, we make sure to look if we need to make any revisions. We hope that our video will come out as we envision it and can’t wait to see the finished product.

H ey, Everyone and welcome back to another update on our video. We have finally finished the video and added the last finishing touches. As you all know, for this assignment we were allowed to work with a partner or individually. We chose each other since we were in the same class period and thought it was best to have someone to work with. For our music video project, we chose to do a cover of “The Lazy Song” by Bruno Mars. Starting the final task

Hi, my name is Melissa Meme, and welcome😊. These new set of blogs will document my partner and I's journey as we work on this final task. Last time, I worked on a music video before the winter break. In this new project, we are to create an opening scene for a movie. This time I would be introducing myself all over again. I am currently an 11th grader who is attending Fort Lauderdale High School. I am a Haitian American who is somewhat fluent in Haitian Creole. I am plan in the future to work in the medical field. Genre Research: Action

  Earlier this year, I had to create a PowerPoint on a genre of my choice. We were also given the choice to work with a partner for this project. Hence, for this project, I worked with my best friend. I talk to her every day and we are in the same class, so this was the best option. When picking our genre, we chose “action” as this is the type of genre we seem to watch a lot in the past year in movies and shows. When doing our research we watched and looked at trusted websites to acquire knowledge of what methods or materials are used to produce action movies. We researched what lightings are used in action movies. We also researched the angles that are used in action movies. We also researched the camera movements, mise en scenes, and sounds involved/used in action movies. From the information we obtained, some common lighting in the genre of action is low-key lighting and backlighting.
