Editing blog for music video project

Hi, everyone I hope those who are reading had a great week so far, and welcome to a new blog. In my last blog, I talked about my partner and I being able to start filming for our music video. We got done with filming this week. Overall the filming process was fun but it took some time. It is because my partner and I  had to show my sister how to shot the scene and we usually had to practice acting out the scene. We are not experienced at acting but we tried our best to act out the scenes. There were times when we had to redo the video because we were either not prepared or we just kept on smiling or laughing. We also took many retakes so that we had a variety of videos to choose from when it is time to edit. When we finished filming we took all of the recordings and dumped them on Kendia's computer. Prior to dumping them, we had to crop most videos since we left them running to practice acting out a scene or to show my sister how to record. For editing, we used the Clipchamp video editor app, and we crop videos through my sister's phone. We preferred the Clipchamp app since we noticed from our commercial video project that it made editing easier compared to the VSDC editing app I originally used. Once we got all the videos onto the Clipchamp we had to look for a site where we could download the audio version of "The Lazy Song" by Bruno Mars. We used mp3 juices to download the song and upload the sound on Clipchamp. Then we had to crop the song since our music video can only be a minute or less. After, we then dropped each video to see which one went along the most with the song. We are almost done with editing we only have to dump some of the recordings into the video and also make our credits. We are almost done with the finished product. I hope that you guys enjoy it and know that we tried our best since we had to do it under difficult circumstances. Bye and see you in my next blog.
