 Hello everyone and welcome back! I just came out of spring break which was only a week long. Hope everyone is well and that they stayed safe over the break or past week. Over the  break, I did some school work for other online classes, reviewed and filmed with Kendia. I also spent time with my siblings and family. Kendia mostly worked during the whole week. Now looking back, I think she had three days off which was Saturday before spring break, Tuesday and Thursday. On those days, it was much better to film with her since on her work days she becomes tired so she rest after work. We did have some setbacks so we only filmed on Tuesday.  We were suppose to film on Thursday but something came up with my  mom so she couldn't drop me off at Kendia's. I also could not film the weekend of Spring Break since I was over at my dad's. On Tuesday, we filmed the outside scenes only. Kendia filmed them with her phone. Hello everyone and welcome to another blog. We are now in Spring Break so it is now time to rest on schoolwork. I hope over the break do study and review since we are almost getting into the testing season. So far we had about a day of filming done. Kendia and I hope to get some more done since our final task is almost going to be due. Over the break we hoped to film for a couple of days. Now in my last blog, I mentioned that we were suppose to film this Thursday. Kendia's work schedule got in the way so we didn't film. We talked over the phone and decided why don't we film on Saturday. My mother is fine with it, but Kendia will need to ask her mom if that is fine with her. Kendia and I didn't talk today so we hope to talk to more to see what we will do from now on. We also have to talk to see if its still okay for me to go over her house to film on Saturday.  Hello everyone and hope you all had a great day so far. Welcome to a new blog. Today I don't have much to say since Kendia and I did not film.  This weekend I was at my dad's house so I could not film with Kendia. My dad lives all the way in Miami so it would not have been easy to drive from there to go to Kendia's house. I go to my dad's house every other weekend so I cant film with Kendia while I am at my dad's house. The only times I can film is when I am at my mom's house. My mom lives closer to Kendia and she is the one that take me to Kendia's house. We would have filmed today but Kendia had to go to a training at her new job. At the last minute, they told her to go back home since her job was having technical issues. As a result, we did not film or even get to meet to continue the project. We did meet virtually during class time. We also meet during the day since we videocall each other each day. Though we couldn't meet face to face, we still met...

Welcome everyone and I hope you all had a great day. In my last blog, I talked about my partner and I make some decisions to help prepare for the filming process. Just recently, Kendia just got a job, and as mentioned before we will most likely only be able to film during the weekends. If she has any days off during the week and we're not busy with school work then we can try and film. On our filming, I went over to Kendia's house afterschool. I can't drive myself around so I had to wait until my mom was let off of work so she could drop me off at her house. I also brought my sister along with me since she will be the one playing as the girl being kidnapped. Once we arrived we prepared our filming location which is outside the apartment building and inside Kendia's apartment. We recorded the first few scenes using Kendia's phone. We could have used my phone but her phone has better camera quality. Throughout the opening scene, my sister’s costume consists of pajamas...

Last blog, I discussed our plans for filming and went over some things we will use for our opening scene. In the blog, I will just discussed what is going on so far and what my partner and I plan to do from now on. We don't know if she will get the job or not. If she does it will change the amount times we will be able to meet up. If she ends up getting a job  we will be limited to filming just on the weekends.  We will try to work around that since we are part of religious events on the weekend. We will also try to spend our spring break to get some filming done. As stated in my last blog, transportation wont be a problem now since my mom doesn't work on the weekends. In our previous blog, we went a little bit over on props and clothing . We called each other to talk a little bit more on what should be included in our opening scene.  Welcome back everyone to a new set of blogs. The next few blogs will be on me and my partner, Kendia documenting the filming process. In our planning blog that included our schedule for filming and editing, we decided not to film this week. The reason for this is because Kendia and I knew and felt that it would not have been possible to meet to start filming. Today, I started listening to royalty-free thriller background music. From there I started finding some good background sounds we could use. For our filming location, we are still going to record the whole final task at Kendia's house. Kendia made sure to get permission so that her mom approved that I could come over to film the opening scene with Kendia. It was important to get her mom's permission since Covid 19 is still going around. We will also make sure to still take safety measures. Process: We first gave our suggestions and from there we talked about what should be our final Studio and Production Company name. For our studio name, I suggested names: KM or MK Studios . For our Production company name I also suggested MeDia Production Company or that we could use our favorite color, purple, as our production company name. Kendia then suggested that we could combine purple and MeDia and make our production company name: Purple MeDia Production Company. The “Me” in MeDia comes from the two first letters of Melissa’s name. The “Dia” in MeDia comes from the last three letters of Kendia’s Name. She also then suggested that we could name our studio Melikur Studios. I like this studio name as it combines a nickname we have for each other. We went through our storyboard first to get an idea of what sound and dialogue we would have in our final task. Kendia worked on the storyboard drawings even though she may not be the best artist she still tried her best. While I worked on some of the descriptions of each scene. With our storyboard it should help to make filming easier since there is a lot to record. We do think that along the way there might be changes to the storyboard. We hope that our final task turns out well :)

Schedule:  We are about to enter a time where many of our AP, AICE, and EOC exams are coming. We plan to film about once or twice a week. My partner and I can’t film as much since we usually have school work to do after school and usually are in religious related events on the weekends. Though we may face these obstacles we do believe that we still can schedule in some filming or editing days. In 2 weeks we also have Spring Break so it is possible that we can try to film over the break. 3/1/2021-3/7/2021 We should have an idea of what we are going to use and where to record in our film. This week, we would just try to get our costumes, props, and location prepared for filming. 3/8/2021-3/14/2021 We would begin filming for the final task and film the first few scenes.  3/15/2021-3/28/2021 We expect to film the remaining scenes.
