Production Blog: Filming during our break

 Hello everyone and welcome back! I just came out of spring break which was only a week long. Hope everyone is well and that they stayed safe over the break or past week. Over the  break, I did some school work for other online classes, reviewed and filmed with Kendia. I also spent time with my siblings and family. Kendia mostly worked during the whole week. Now looking back, I think she had three days off which was Saturday before spring break, Tuesday and Thursday. On those days, it was much better to film with her since on her work days she becomes tired so she rest after work. We did have some setbacks so we only filmed on Tuesday.  We were suppose to film on Thursday but something came up with my  mom so she couldn't drop me off at Kendia's. I also could not film the weekend of Spring Break since I was over at my dad's. On Tuesday, we filmed the outside scenes only. Kendia filmed them with her phone. Though it was late in the afternoon we were still able to film as much as we can before it hit eight o'clock. We still have to film some more so  later on this week we will film. We talked today and Kendia will work Tuesday and Wednesday. We decided we can film Thursday since she is off. Later on the week, we will see if can film on the weekend. At the moment, we are waiting to see if there might be changes to her work schedule. For the scenes inside, we can not film in Kendia's house since she is having personal issues and her mom has health issues. As a result, I will film them at my dad's house next weekend. Over the phone, I also suggest we start editing what we have for now so that we don't have much to do near the due date for the final task. I hope that this week we can get as much filming done so we can at least try to start editing. I hope everyone had a great day and see you in my next blog.

H ey, Everyone and welcome back to another update on our video. We have finally finished the video and added the last finishing touches. As you all know, for this assignment we were allowed to work with a partner or individually. We chose each other since we were in the same class period and thought it was best to have someone to work with. For our music video project, we chose to do a cover of “The Lazy Song” by Bruno Mars. Starting the final task

Hi, my name is Melissa Meme, and welcome😊. These new set of blogs will document my partner and I's journey as we work on this final task. Last time, I worked on a music video before the winter break. In this new project, we are to create an opening scene for a movie. This time I would be introducing myself all over again. I am currently an 11th grader who is attending Fort Lauderdale High School. I am a Haitian American who is somewhat fluent in Haitian Creole. I am plan in the future to work in the medical field. Genre Research: Action

  Earlier this year, I had to create a PowerPoint on a genre of my choice. We were also given the choice to work with a partner for this project. Hence, for this project, I worked with my best friend. I talk to her every day and we are in the same class, so this was the best option. When picking our genre, we chose “action” as this is the type of genre we seem to watch a lot in the past year in movies and shows. When doing our research we watched and looked at trusted websites to acquire knowledge of what methods or materials are used to produce action movies. We researched what lightings are used in action movies. We also researched the angles that are used in action movies. We also researched the camera movements, mise en scenes, and sounds involved/used in action movies. From the information we obtained, some common lighting in the genre of action is low-key lighting and backlighting.
