Production Blog: Filming more scenes for our final task

 Hi and welcome back to a new blog. We are in our last week of filming for our opening scene. Kendia and I talked Sunday and talked about our schedule. Since Kendia's job have not schedule her in for the week, we are going to film for two or three days this week. So far, I did film some scenes with my sister. Originally Kendia and I were suppose to meet today but my mom seemed like she was going to come home late. I decided once I finished some schoolwork, I will film with my sister myself. We didn't do much since my sister  wanted to start on her homework. Tomorrow I am going to film with Kendia. I think so far we just have to film the part where the Kidnapper takes the girl away. From there I will also help record the scenes that just only have Kendia. This time I will be filming Kendia so that way we don't have to teach my sister how to record certain parts. Before I meet with Kendia tomorrow, I will film some scenes with my sister. Once we finish we will continue with editing the videos. I might be able to come to Kendia's house early since sometimes on Tuesday's my mom comes off of work a little early. Well see you all in my next blog. This week Thursday will be our last production blog. I hope that Kendia and I can get as much done and that the final task turns out well. Well see you all in my next blog. H ey, Everyone and welcome back to another update on our video. We have finally finished the video and added the last finishing touches. As you all know, for this assignment we were allowed to work with a partner or individually. We chose each other since we were in the same class period and thought it was best to have someone to work with. For our music video project, we chose to do a cover of “The Lazy Song” by Bruno Mars. We choose this song since we can relate to being lazy, procrastinating, or the feeling of just not wanting to do anything. We did have some things in our way, however. Starting the final task

Hi, my name is Melissa Meme, and welcome😊. These new set of blogs will document my partner and I's journey as we work on this final task. Last time, I worked on a music video before the winter break. In this new project, we are to create an opening scene for a movie. This time I would be introducing myself all over again. I am currently an 11th grader who is attending Fort Lauderdale High School. I am a Haitian American who is somewhat fluent in Haitian Creole. I am plan in the future to work in the medical field. So far I enjoy this class and love that I am learning all about films and the process. I choose to work with my best friend Kendia Banks. Genre Research: Action

  Earlier this year, I had to create a PowerPoint on a genre of my choice. We were also given the choice to work with a partner for this project. Hence, for this project, I worked with my best friend. I talk to her every day and we are in the same class, so this was the best option. When picking our genre, we chose “action” as this is the type of genre we seem to watch a lot in the past year in movies and shows. When doing our research we watched and looked at trusted websites to acquire knowledge of what methods or materials are used to produce action movies. We researched what lightings are used in action movies. We also researched the angles that are used in action movies. We also researched the camera movements, mise en scenes, and sounds involved/used in action movies. From the information we obtained, some common lighting in the genre of action is low-key lighting and backlighting.
