Production blog: Filiming and editing remaining scenes

 Hello and welcome everyone to our last production blog. Kendia was free basically the entire week since she was not working. That was a good thing because we were able to finish up filming. We only filmed for 2 days this week. Our first day we finished the kidnapping scene. On the second day, we film the scenes where my sisters appears to get ready. On our last day of filming, Kendia came over to my house. For the scenes with only just her required someone to film her. Since her mom wouldn't allow us to go in her house, Kendia came over to mines. As we filmed, we did not film certain parts from our storyboard. The scene where Kendia puts weapons away was taken out since in the kidnapping scene Kendia doesn't use weapons. Also Kendia didn't wear a ski mask because we thought it was better if she tried covering up her face with her hair. We only are left with editing. We have been editing throughout the dat. Before the project due date we will finish editing. Since were apart for editing process we try helping each other edit the videos through zoom. if Kendia shares her scree, and gives me permission to her screen then I can help with editing. H ey, Everyone and welcome back to another update on our video. We have finally finished the video and added the last finishing touches. As you all know, for this assignment we were allowed to work with a partner or individually. We chose each other since we were in the same class period and thought it was best to have someone to work with. For our music video project, we chose to do a cover of “The Lazy Song” by Bruno Mars. Starting the final task

Hi, my name is Melissa Meme, and welcome😊. These new set of blogs will document my partner and I's journey as we work on this final task. Last time, I worked on a music video before the winter break. In this new project, we are to create an opening scene for a movie. This time I would be introducing myself all over again. I am currently an 11th grader who is attending Fort Lauderdale High School. I am a Haitian American who is somewhat fluent in Haitian Creole. I am plan in the future to work in the medical field. Genre Research: Action

  Earlier this year, I had to create a PowerPoint on a genre of my choice. We were also given the choice to work with a partner for this project. Hence, for this project, I worked with my best friend. I talk to her every day and we are in the same class, so this was the best option. When picking our genre, we chose “action” as this is the type of genre we seem to watch a lot in the past year in movies and shows. When doing our research we watched and looked at trusted websites to acquire knowledge of what methods or materials are used to produce action movies. We researched what lightings are used in action movies. We also researched the angles that are used in action movies. We also researched the camera movements, mise en scenes, and sounds involved/used in action movies. From the information we obtained, some common lighting in the genre of action is low-key lighting and backlighting.
